It’s here! July timessss. Let’s get ready to discuss:

Main book: Alice Isn’t Dead by Joseph Fink. Keisha Taylor is a truck driver who travels cross-country searching for her wife, Alice, whom she long presumed dead. Themes of otherworldly threats, struggle against monstrous beings, conspiracies, romance and more. Based on a popular podcast that ran for 3 seasons with over 30 episodes.

Secondary book: A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck is a novella about a Mormon geologist, Soren Johansson, who dies and finds himself in a hellish, infinite library where he must find the book that tells the story of his life to escape.

Graphic Novel: Whisper of the Woods by Ennun Ana Iurov (she/he/they) In search of his missing friend, Adam travels to the heart of Romania’s most supernatural forest, Hoia Baciu.

Comic: Black Hole by Charles Burns (12 in series and will run June, July & Aug) Continuing the series at your own pace.

Other: Try the Alice Isn’t Dead podcast even though it’s different from the book. Worldbuilding.

More other: feel free to bring some games you’d love for us try at some point, if that’s your thing. Cards, tabletop, etc.
